What should I know before my first appointment?
Book ahead, arrive a few minutes early, and say what you want worked on.
- Pick a session from the services menu. If you are not sure where to start, a 60 minute Swedish Massage is $80, the lowest price for a full hour on the menu.
- Book online through Fresha to see open times, or call (650) 272-6881 to book.
- Arrive a few minutes early so you are not starting in a rush. If you are driving, park on the street out front or on the free streets around the block.
- Tell your therapist where to spend the time and how firm you want it: light, medium or deep. If you are pregnant, say how far along you are when you book.

How do I get to W Spa?
Head for Waverley Street in downtown Palo Alto, on the block between University Avenue and Lytton Avenue. W Spa is at 441 Waverley St, half a block north of the University Avenue corner.
By car
University Avenue leads into downtown from both US-101 and El Camino Real. Street parking is right outside the spa, and the streets around it are free to park on, with the time limit on the posted sign. Downtown is split into parking color zones, and once a time limit runs out the car has to move to a different zone, because re-parking in the same zone that day is ticketed. Posted signs govern.
By Caltrain
Ride to Palo Alto station at 95 University Ave, in fare Zone 3. Walk up University Avenue away from the tracks and turn onto Waverley Street toward Lytton Avenue; the studio is half a block along, roughly 10 minutes from the platform in all.
By bus or Stanford shuttle
Buses and shuttles stop at the Palo Alto Transit Center beside the Caltrain station. Caltrain lists connections there to VTA 21, 22 and Rapid 522, several SamTrans routes including the ECR, and the Dumbarton Express. Stanford's Marguerite shuttle stops there too, and Stanford says all its routes are free and open to the public. Marguerite's main lines run Monday to Friday except university holidays, so do not count on them on weekends.

Where do I park near W Spa?
Right outside. There is street parking in front of the spa, and the streets around it are free to park on; the City of Palo Alto lists on-street spaces downtown as free for generally up to 2 hours. Posted signs govern, so check the time limit where you park.
